Beautiful Waterfront 4 bedroom 3 bathroom home on one of the most desirable parts of Lake McQueeney. We offer a fantastic lakeside deck and upper deck perfect for entertaining friends and family. The upper deck has a large 6 burner gas grill, dining table and a gas fire table (our happy place is an evening glass of wine + tapas taking in the lake view by the fire). The lakeside deck offers lounge seating, picnic table, abundant shade due to huge cypress and oak trees, a large amount of waterfront space, and deep water of 10-13ft. There are also several fishing pole holders and some of the best fishing in south Texas. We are one of the only places around that offers kayaks and paddle boards for use (2 kayaks, one of which is a 2 seater and 2 standup paddle boards); you can enjoy a leisure fishing kayak or go for a miles long paddle workout on the morning glass of the lake. The waterfront is very usable at night...enjoy fishin' in the dark or flip on the flood lights to completely illuminate the deck. We know that a big day at the lake can take it out of you - Absolutely nobody in the vacation rental business takes your sleep more seriously than we do! We believe that 2 people should never share a bed smaller than a King, sofa sleepers are absolutely unacceptable, quality beds save your back, and rooms should be dark enough for everyone to sleep in as late as they like. ALL bedrooms have legitimate room darkening curtains or blinds. We have also added the convenient touches like outlets close to each side of the bed, and plenty of pillows. The sleeping setup is 3 king beds and 4 twin beds divided into 4 bedrooms. We also have 2 additional twin beds slid under beds for use in whatever rooms you choose (there is also a full size crib available for use in the master bedroom). This totals 12 adults very comfortably in beds and 1 small child in a crib. The Lake Haus offers abundant parking with carport and driveway space for up to 9 cars. There is one open boat lift that will fit up to a 22ft 4500 lb V Hull boat (bunks not set up for a pontoon boat), use must be coordinated with the owner prior to stay. The water under the lift is a constant 10-13ft so no issue with shallow water damaging your prop, also perfect to jump in! The Lake Haus will always keep you entertained and includes Giant Jenga (made with 2 x 4's), a large shuffleboard table and three big screen TV's. The home is artfully decorated with a clean, classy rustic feel and new furniture. The home has a very open and light feel, making you feel comfortable and at home from the time you walk in. The living room wall is covered with wood reclaimed from a local Texas dance hall. The kitchen is stocked with a microwave, toaster oven, blender, slow cooker, quality pots and pans, and sharp knives. There is also a large cooler available for use. When we remodeled our home in 2011, we created a second kitchen on the first floor with an additional seating area. Perfect for multiple families renting or when cooking for large groups. No problem with refrigerator space, we have 2! Plenty of parking underneath the car port (room for 6 cars). For those bringing a boat or jet skis, we have a fully enclosed boat house with an electric lift. Our neighborhood's private boat launch is available for guests as well. We have a large fenced backyard (great for pets) and the lake is just steps away from the backdoor. There is a spacious dock over the water with table and chairs provided. Not a 'sun seeker'? No problem, our home has a wrap around porch on the 2nd level that provides shade most of day. Great for enjoying your morning coffee or for watching the sun go down! Lots to do at our home whether it be boating, fishing, swimming, or just laying in the hammock. We are in close proximity to New Braunfels and Gruene, TX for daily excursions or to pick up last minute shopping needs. NOTE: For smaller groups, we would consider renting out just the lower level (2 bedroom/1 bath) that can sleep up to 10 comfortably. Our family vacation home is situated on the breezy side of the lake and has a gently sloped lawn down to the water. It is a well appointed home with lots of upgrades made by current owner. Secured by a gate on a private street and across from the only farmland on the lake, the view is wonderful and there are lots of amenities to enjoy from badminton and ping pong, to water skiing to tubing at nearby New Braunfels. The large deck out front is perfect for rocking the day away or playing games while watching the boats and skiers go by. We are very close to the lodge by boat or car. A new boathouse, deck and top deck was built in 2018. Bedroom 1 has a king bed, a day bed and a private bath with walk-in shower. Bedroom 2 has a king bed, a set of bunk beds and uses the hall bath with tub/shower. There is a hotel folding bed in the closet that may be pulled out and used anywhere in the house. Bedroom 3 has 3 twin beds and a private bath with walk-in shower. Bedroom 4 has two sets of bunk beds, an extra twin mattress and a private bath. , There is a family room/dining kitchen area facing the lake and a second TV room, both with cable TV. There is wireless internet as well. You must be 25 or order to rent this property. There is no public boat ramp on the lake, but if you are a member of the lodge you may bring you boat for a fee and use one of the lifts. We can not fit pontoons or boats over 23'.

Cypress Breeze Guesthouse is a very comfortable, relaxing and fun family getaway. It is located on one of the highest points overlooking the lake, with a huge yard and the sound of the wind blowing through the 100+ year old cypress trees along our waterfront deck below. Cypress Breeze has 2 bedrooms and 2 baths. One bedroom has 2 queen size beds and a TV. The second bedroom has 2 double beds and a single size futon. The king bed and large dresser is perfect for the master suite. Tucked in the closet are 2 comfy cots for any additional sleepers.  The Perch has incredible views of Lake Placid and the manicured park-like lawns.  The Pecan Trees and Cypress trees still tower over you as you sip your coffee on the private balcony.  Open the french doors wide to experience the outdoors without having to roll your relaxed self out of bed!   Hey Y’all, our best surprise for you is “The Fish Camp”! Fish Camp is it’s own unique apartment space.  Open the door and walk down the hombre blue (thats a fancy way of saying really cool) basement steps.  You will be greeted with red leather couches, a gigantic flat screen TV and sound system.  The Fish Camp has its own fridge, microwave and full bathroom.  Behind the sliding barn doors you will find 2 queen beds, flat screen TV with DVD player, dresser and large closet.  There are also 2 mattressed twin cots to add additional sleepers.  The large sectional couch and ottoman make a full bed as well. This by far has been the most complimented and praised area of the house! The Guest House directly next to the Main house has 4 additional bedrooms, 2 full bathrooms and a small kitchenette along with it’s own concrete driveway. Together both the Main and Guest house can comfortably sleep 28 in beds, 6 on futons, 32 Max Occupany. Both houses combined create a very large vacation home offering a total 11 bedrooms, 5.5 bathrooms, 3 kitchens, large deck, patio, fire pit, a private 70' pier over the river perfect for the fisherman in the family. This property offers much privacy for larger groups to easily spread out. The home is located directly on the Guadalupe River with over 150 ft of private waterfront property. It's yard is one of the largest yards you will find along the river and is fully shaded by 100 plus year old pecan trees and features landscape lighting throughout the property for easy night time navigation. The patio on the back allows you to take in the wonderful river view. ** Please note the house is not handicap accessible by any code or standard. We have however had a number of guests with limited mobility say they found it very well suited for there needs but they likely did bring a shower chair and had some assistance during shower time, etc. Note there are 2 steps at the front door entry of the home. Based on previous guests feedback they consider the house to be "handicap friendly" noting it has proven to work well for them. One main reason our guests rent this home is that the first floor/street level of the Main house is all one level and has 3 bedrooms, 2 full bathrooms,1 half bathroom, direct access to the Main Kitchen, Living room and back Patio overlooking the large yard and river view. Great, quiet place on the Guadalupe River east of New Braunfels about 15 minutes. Near Lake McQueeny. This section of the river is called Lake Placid. It is suitable for boating, skiing, jet-skiing, fishing but not tubing (although you can certainly lounge in your tubes at the dock). There is a shady, sweeping lawn of carpet-grass and pecan trees down to the water. You will enjoy sitting on the deck and watching the boats and wakeboarders buzz up and down the river or watching your family swim or playing volleyball at the net. There are only four houses on this section of the river (and on a dead end street) so very little traffic around you. Inside you will find everything you need. There are 4 sofas (not sofa-beds) for additional sleeping besides the king and queen-size beds in the two bedrooms. Fun Décor, New TV's in Master bedroom and den. You can even use our canoe. The plaid sectionals in photos have been recently replaced with a navy leather sofa and a soft navy sofa. Just bring your food and your clothes! San Antonio features the Alamo, San Antonio River Walk, Six Flags, Fiesta Texas, and Sea World. Our home has three bedrooms and two bathrooms: Master bedroom (king size bed and an adjoining full bathroom,) second bedroom (king size bed) and a third bedroom (full size bed) and a shared bathroom. There is a full kitchen with complete utensils including a coffee pot, microwave, and full size refrigerator. The living area has a television with DVD player. Of course with Texas weather the home is electrically heated and air-conditioned. The kitchen and living area is an open floor plan overlooking the deck and multiple pecan trees that shade the property. No smoking inside/outside or illegal drugs, otherwise entire deposit will be forfeited. No loud parties to disturb the neighbors. It is a quiet neighborhood and the neighbors appreciate the courtesy. Police will be called if groups get out of control. We like to respect the privacy of our neighbors. No pets are allowed inside the home or outside on the property. The Retreat is a great place to dock your boat and the perfect location for your vacation.

The Captain Ron's Lake House is a great place for FUN! Everything in house is new! This house is for the entire family!!! It has an Indian Motif and is really a unique house! The house sleeps 10 but does have a queen bed in a bean bag. This would work for children! The water is right there at the deck. Deck is covered with grill and table for 8 to eat! Now taking reservations for Summer 2019 - get in quick! Every bedroom has a bathroom except one!- Kids can catch fish off the dock and swim and have fun right their at the house!
